As Assistant Public Defender, Jake Mihalov has dealt with all manner of criminal cases, ranging from misdemeanors to homicide. Attorney Mihalov has tried jury cases to verdict in front of every criminal Judge that is currently seated in Washington County.
Prior to taking his current position in Washington County, Attorney Mihalov worked for a small general practice firm, and then for the Resources Division of Babst Calland Clements and Zomnir. P.C., in Pittsburgh.
Attorney Mihalov is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, Denison University, and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. He won All NCAC Tournament team honors for Denison’s Varsity Baseball team as well as being recognized as a Moot Court National Finalist while competing for Denison’s Moot Court team.
Attorney Mihalov coaches the Trinity High School Mock Trial Team and also serves as a board member for the Washington County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division. He lives in Canonsburg with his rescue dog, Duncan.
